Apollo 13 Damaged CSM 16x20 inch This photo shows the damage to the Apollo 13 spacecraft, as you can see one whole panel is missing from the side of the service module, this photo was taken from the Apollo 13 Command Module shortly before re-entry to Earth, when the service module was released from the Command module. This was the first time that the Apollo 13 saw the damage caused by the explosion in the oxygen tank.
