Gene Cernan signed 10x8 Gemini Photo Framed

Signed and inscribed photo from the Gemini 9A flight. The image depicts the malfunctioning Agena Target Vehicle (ATV) which Cernan and Tom Stafford were supposed to dock with. The docking with the Augmented Target Docking Adaptor (ADTA) was scrubbed because the nose fairing failed to eject from the target due to a launch preparation error. Stafford noted that "It looks like an angry alligator out here rotating around," with its jaws agape. Cernan thus inscribed the photo, with the term "Angry Alligator" along with the mission number and date. This piece is accompanied by several photos of Cernan signing and posing with the print.
